Craft fair crash and burn...
Miss T and I always have a good time hanging out and being snarky, even though the fair was a bust. You know how you should never trust a military recruiter? Yeah, well, you can't exactly trust a craft fair coordinator, either...LOL

...at least the pigs had a great time!

Halloween
This year, we missed Angus! He went and trick-r-treated w/his best friend. We had some extras, as Soph and the Spaghettios came along for our marathon run. Banana blackened Big T's beard to try and make him appear younger...LMAO
I had a record low of 14 kids this year, and my crusty crew had a record haul!
And I spent 2 days cooking up all that pumpkin. Over 4 gallons of it! Pumpkin pie...here we come! Although this guy doesn't look too happy...

Another 15 Minutes of Fame...
I received an email from Tara Johnson of thedailyauburn.com. She was interested in interviewing local crafters who sell their wares online. We met at the library and had a fun time chatting. I was very excited to be promoted in this way.
Here's the link to the article: Local custom card designer opens online store.
Thanks, Tara!

God Bless America
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Plimoth Plantation
We went to Plimoth Plantation and Mayflower II yesterday for FREE, courtesy of The Highland Street Foundation. There are a bunch of places that are free on Fridays, so click the link!
Here are some of my favorite pics from our trip:
The big boys were asked to help put in a couple of planks for a fence that needed repair. They got to break out one of the rotted planks and then put in two new ones.
The day was flawless. Temp and humidity perfectly comfortable. Only a few puffy clouds in the sky. Aaaaaaaaah, summertime!
